Ideaworks Pen/Pencil Slim Style Turning Class

There is nothing more satisfying and gratifying then utilizing something that has been personally created for you (or for oneself); in this case, you’ll learn to turn your first pen or pencil. Forewarn: this kind of woodworking is addictive! In the hands-on Ideaworks Woodshop: Pen/Pencil Turning Slim Style class, you’ll learn every step in turning to create a beautiful wooden pen or pencil that you’ll be proud to show off or give as a gift. In addition, you’ll go home with the basics of lathe operation, tools, and turning techniques.

**If you’d like to do both a pen and pencil, please bring an additional $25 for materials and handling.**

Attendees do not need to be members of Ideaworks. However, upon completion of the class, members will be clear to use the woodshop unsupervised during business hours.

Regular membership is $40 per month and 50% off regular membership ($20 per month) for students, seniors, out of area, military – active, reserve or veteran. Current members of Fresno Ideaworks are not eligible for this promotion. This offer cannot be combined with any other offer.    

CANCELLATION, CHANGE, AND REFUND POLICY

This is a high demand event with limited spaces available. A request of cancellation must be received by email to classes@fresnoideaworks.org 72 Hours prior to the event date to be eligible for a refund. Please note, a $15.00 processing fee will be assessed per cancellation from the total refund.
Regretfully, we are unable to issue refunds and/or credit for a missed class. However, in some circumstances at the discretion of the instructor and management, pending availability, a credit may be given towards future sessions with special circumstances. 
In the case Ideaworks must cancel a class, full registration fees based on the original form payment was made will be refunded.
